1. Check out the post below on January groups. Groups C and D are combining.
2. If you are interested in joining fiddle group, enrollment is open for Spring Semester.
3. The 2nd annual East Tennessee String Workshop is taking place March 6 and 7 in Knoxville. I have brochures available in the studio and would be happy to answer any questions. (and twist any arms..) My mentor teacher, Mary Cay Neal, will be there doing master classes and group sessions. This is a excellent, and RARE opportunity to take a lesson with one of the most honored and respected Suzuki teachers in the country. Times are filling up quickly, so talk to me soon!
4. Solo Recital forms are available starting January 12th. The application is due by January 23 and approved pieces must be performed for me by memory before February 13. Details are on the application.
5. Smart Music will be up and running by January 12th. I'll have all the info you need to start using it at home at your next lesson. Every teacher that I have talked to tells me that this is a great way to get your child to spend more time practicing. Go online and check it out!
6. Don't forget about Symphony of the Mountains Youth Orchestra and Youth Ensemble. Now is a great time to join, so ask me about it at your next lesson!
